Liuxon offers alternative solutions to transfer fluids between ship and shore as well as between two ships. We can work with your providers to ensure a safe, sound, and cost effective transfer systems. Liuxon's solutions include:
1. Vertical Shaft with Hoses Suspended Internally ®
- Ideal for sites prone to ice gouging, water level changing, storm surges and tsunami;
- Upon release hose returns automatically by gravity;
- Optional to supply diesel fuel with additional hoses.
2. Articulated Arm with Supported Hose
- Suited for short separation distance from ship manifolds;
- Arm to lift hose end toward ship manifolds;
- Auto-Balancing Hose Loading ® for maximum flexibility (accommodating large ship motions, pipe thermal expansion and platform movements) .
3. Stationary Dual-Reel with Hoses ®
- Ideal for a bunkering station near a river bank;
- Reducing CAPEX by up to 90% and minimizing environmental impact;
- Well suited for separation distance up to hundreds meters.
4. Mobile Dual-Reel with Hoses ®
- Ideal for barge-to-ship bunkering in the open seas or temporary bunkering from shore/river banks;
- Supported on a barge/service vessel or self-floating;
- Minimum equipment and quick setup (in hours, refer to the picture at the top of this page) ;
- Well suited for separation distance up to hundreds meters.
For LNG bunkering, cryogenic hoses are used along with dry connectors to achieve zero emission. Similar systems are also applicable for transfer of other cryogenic fluids such as liquid hydrogen (LH2), LPG and ammonia in a small to medium scale.
